Down Wind

From back in the winter when the snow had yet to plant itself. Perhaps on my way to my procurement and mailing of the holiday gifts for the triple-handful of clients who made 2014 a delight. One thick six-quid magazine and an envelope with a touch of cursive on a branded postcard. A good afternoon task that warmed my little business heart. People liked it.

When drowning (treading really, with enough endurance to stay afloat) in work it’s tough for me to get any daytime New York into my schedule. Darkness falls before the day is up. Without a meeting or occasion it’s hard to take a three-hour afternoon jaunt around a new neighborhood and soak up the city. And so the work continues, a couple thousand clicks and keyboard patters.

It’s good. It’s all very good. Just a phase. Curious what the next one will bring.

Friday in the Orchard St office.
