Foof. A brief sunset break to try to shoot some spec yielded 1: nice light on a building, 2: scaffolding in front of the one I had wanted, 3: confusion over where one I saw a long time ago was, 4: somewhat impatient ambulation scouring for something to shoot, 5: this lovely backyard scene over a handball court.
Overall I wanted a break and I got it. So that’s nice. From the LES through the fringe of Chinatown, through SoHo and finally into TriBeCa. And back again. Must’ve seen thousands of people. One reason I quite love it here.
Home at the keyboard with an apple, thinking of dinner.
(oy. postscript here. the pain. some google mapping shows that I was one. one block from my target [here]. The light would’ve been a delight. instead I fumbled through it. next time)
