The Pit moniker is close enough. Calling it a depression for polo is too dark. Sunken stone. The Lowlands perhaps. The court is a couple feet beneath street level. A rather shallow pit, but The Pit nonetheless.

Evenings on buses and days with a rolling suitcase. Whipping around with cameras and assorted black metal and plastic gear. Back home to the shiny screen, a rectangle of fleeting visions. Images examined, improved, and sent into the aether of the internet.

Impending vacation, a forced disconnection to be welcomed.
