Nearby Wandering
By the end of summer these orange barriers just might be gone. Or perhaps they’ve been here for years and aren’t budging any time soon. Having spent just a few weekends here thus far I’m less than proficient in the happenings of the new neighborhood.
But it’s bustling in the best of ways. Take the busiest part of any neighborhood I’ve ever lived in and make that the norm everywhere and you’ve got where I’m at. Generally.
Some nearby bar kept playing a computerized trumpet version of la cucaracha and we suspect it gets triggered anytime someone orders tequila shots. We’re not sure. But it’s not a car horn.
Settling amidst it all.
