Hill Climbing

Home sweet home, plunked down somewhere around one of those hills. There are plenty of trees around my neighborhood to be sure, but you don’t think of it like this until you stumble upon a public staircase that weaves sharply upwards between back yards and around blind corners. Up to a peak that’s just the end of a street.

Jamaica Plain, home of yours truly Sep ’13-Aug 14. My next neighborhood will be a bit less jungly, more concrete. Of course it’s still TBD, but soon I’m hoping for some determinedness.

In time.
