You probably can’t read it in my hands. But I’ve been making my way through some of the basic architecture literature. The Fountainhead. Project Japan. Some other stuff. And now, full of foreshadowry, Rem Koolhaus’s Delirious New York.

It’s all about Manhattan and its crazy history. Carved into finite blocks, where anything new demands destruction of the old. Lots of interesting stuff. But the point being that I’m headed to NYC before long. The apartment search is underway. Lower East Side is in my and my other’s sights.

But book-wise I have these tomes at my fingertips. Rooming with architect kids = big bookshelf full of the foundational works of the field.

Island-bound.
