I planned the walk around the memory of this house. It was a wonderful sighting a while back while on a different mission (a day in the arboretum… much recommended), and this past weekend I ventured forth to glance it anew.
It has proven to be another difficult one to find the architect for. No general searches of the address or neighborhood turned up anything. No scrounging through the public land records nor the building permits, some of which dated to 1925. I think one document even read “permit type: home addition” or some equivalent, but in the field marked as “Architect / Contractor” it was blank…
So snail mail it is. One of my photo postcards is en route to the Resident. May I ask, who’s behind this?
Was walking, now waiting.
