The Approach

Another day, another discovery. Another hole found after a bit of prospecting. Right now I’ve probably got seven tabs open in my browser of local architecture firms that could use some help, visually. And it’s a question of how to make first contact, how to communicate to persons unknown in a way that will work.

My favorite way, or rather the one I’ve been luckiest with, is to simply shoot the exterior of one of their projects that doesn’t look all that great on their website. Here. Look what I did. You could benefit from these images. Today. Let’s talk.

And of course I’ll benefit by getting more assignments to fill up my days. I feel best when I’ve done something, when I have duty to perform, when I get to get something done. Money has found its way into the equation nicely, but the main focus has become How do I get some great projects to shoot?

Speculative Tuesday.
