Looking Up

It’s the same shell adapted a dozen different ways at once. Different windows. Decks open and closed off. Flower boxes and awnings plucked on. I cannot deny it, I love it. What’s not seen is pigeon coop up top, with perhaps fifty birds flown at dawn and dusk.

Ahhh, Shanghai of 2009.
