Trying to find something to play with is one of the constants in my walks. What’s interesting, what can be toyed with, explored? There’s the usual pretty, a couple dozen things I’ve done exhaustively, what is there that I haven’t really experiment with?

Today it was this. Clear shallow water with trunks of shade opening them up. Plenty to play with up the shoreline. And then variations with foliage in front of this, layering it up, blurring and sharpening, and on and on.

With no pressing obligations. No appointments to hurry back to. Nothing hanging over my head to distract. Just the present, the little patch of world in front of my eyes.

Slow Saturday.
