Skyline Distance

I still get some deep pang whenever I see it. The Manhattan fingernails scraping the sky. When the bus rises on some bridge and it floats into view, albeit far away. When it comes and goes on a windy approach.

Unfortunately this was as close as I got this time. Twentyish miles. It’d be an epic walk, or a good solid bike ride. But alas, deadlines back home slurped me back up the coast into Bostonian territory.

One day, sooner hopefully.
