Frame and Cloth

Two commercial gigs today. One cash, one trade. Two separate sessions of retouching. One finalizing, the other readying. One inquiring referred phone call. A good long day (albeit unfinished).

Two pieces on the wall. One arguably art. Framed, glassed, matted, hung on a wire. Contemplative and formal. An image from a wandering walk a few years ago. The first edition sold in the gallery, and so I hang on to the second. It’s nice.

The other is a tool. A great circle of gold. A spare disc sparingly used. But it makes for a heck of a wall piece. Light dances upon it as its warmth toes the room. The great golden moon. It’s nice.

Indeed.
