I’ve figured out something I already knew. Getting out of the house is a must. But more importantly, lugging the tripod and some lenses out and hopping on a bus and intentionally photographing a building is what really works. Planned interaction with enough wiggle room for some unexpected exploring.

Even if it’s cold, this works. Even if it means more time waiting for and waiting on buses than shooting, it’s good. It’s more hours spent living outside in the golden hour. This is critically important to much of the work I’m doing. So I must be present.

Attending, every day.
