It has begun. I cannot stop it. I have not willed it, but my body complies. Day by day I am working through the variables to wrangle in order to consistently capture the result of a champagne bottle meeting its end. A transformation from pressurized container to obliterated pile of wet shard.
Home Depot. Blick’s. Trader Joe’s. Ace Hardware. Purveyors all of various supplies and tools. How many hundreds must be spent in order to ensure I get the digital rectangles that I so desire? Can beautiful breaks be ensured on each drop? If volume is required to get the into the range of the desired result, I can certainly afford $5 bottles, but what about those costing $50 or $500?
And so I trudge along, decision by decision, test by test by test. Hoping for the best, but hardly thinking of anything but the next variable to wrest my control over.
Breaking bubbles.
wondering what great things are going on here
