Enough with the horizontal panoramas. My photographic life is comprised in large part of shifting horizontals as of late. They’re the normal. Part of my standard procedure. So here’s a tall one.

Human lines and a tree. They don’t quite line up. That’s OK. One is a stiff splash of veins, the other a mere rectangle. I figure this tree’s seen plenty of new parking stripes applied. And may see this lot through its useful life until its crackled demise. And then a nice re-smoothed blacktop with fresh yellow. Or perhaps pink. They’re the Museum of Fine Arts after all, couldn’t they opt for something other than yellow?

One day, perhaps.
