Part of my shot list for these coffee shop sessions is the coffee cup. The container. The receptacle of the liquid good. One of about fifteen variables I’m trying to get from each place.
Perhaps half have a mark of their identity on the mugs, either in name or symbol. Beyond that I like to see the cup itself and the occasional accompanying plate. And then putting them either in the context of the ‘house, or isolating them.
These are all decisions the proprietors have made. This is the framework of the experience the patron will have.
Much to learn, practice.
