Surprise and befuddlement, followed by that warm wash of appreciation for the unexpected. This isn’t an extreme example of this, but it’s a starting point. Any shred of land in Manhattan can be transformed into a stack of luxury. Boston may have money, but its historicity prevents anything like this from going up.

Development horizons can be very long. Given the distinct lack of windows on the side of the fuelry, I’d guess there’s something taller planned for that little rectangle. Unless it’s just an architectural quirk that I’m unfamiliar with. I know not.

I’m for it, can’t afford it.
