Small Delight

A bright blue wall. Horizontal wood slats. Globular hanging lights. Neon yellow chairs and glazed metal stools with four firm legs on black stone tiles. iPad transaction terminals at the ready.

Yes, it’s the quintessential contemporary prepared food purveyor (Bon Me). Serving healthy ethnic fare in a gleaming space to countless MIT graduates in an urban office park housing everyone from Twitter to upstart material scientists who optimize a ketchup’s flow from a once stubborn bottle.

Shooting in the morning, working during the work day, returning home to read, learn software, and work my fingers on this aluminum trowel that will hopefully enable me to unearth some gems from the digital dearth. A familiar weekday routine that balances well with weekends of barbecue and commandeering of the two-wheeled steed on the polo court.

Phew.
