The general versus the detail. I’ll find a photo in the mass, tweak it to my liking, and then upload it to the blog. Before writing, I’ll preview what it’ll look like in its new two-colored frame (the blog automatically generates the colors). And then I start to see anew what’s in the rectangle.
In this case it was more rectangles. Those small black ones at the bottom left of each door. And then some imperfect angles – left side of the frame? Not perfect. Or rather fixably imperfect. I possess the software skills needed to correct it to be unnoticeable. A mental note to take more time in the shooting of it next time, as it’s perfectly physically possible.
And after a quick inspection and indulgence of the uploaded image I must find something to write. Occasionally something has danced all day on my mind. Often times it’s the blank slate. The stark white of yet another rectangle to fill up. Not with the seen world, but with keystrokes of thought.
Proofread, publish, repeat tomorrow.
