That first day when the idea of sunscreen bumbles about before the game starts, squinting into the sky. C’mon retailers of America, it’s a high-margin product and some people might only buy a big tube or two all summer. I can never understand why it’s so tucked away. Pre-emptively strike with predictive (?) product placement!
And the first day upon returning home when the shoulderous skin looks a bit red, despite squatting in the shadows as much as possible when shooting. Hiding in relative darkness (perhaps 6 stops darker), literally underexposing myself. Technical photographic terms don’t do well in describing skin health strategies.
To another week. One project underway. A venture. A demander of hours. Some requisite learning. Plenty of curation, questioning of what to focus on with extra-officular time.
Time.
