Polo reunites you with pain. Petty misery. Temporary low-level agony. Vapid frustration. And brutal highs. Soul-wrenching elation under the Sunday sun on bleached asphalt. Plenty of both today.
All in pursuit of willfully placing a bit of orange plastic into this receptacle. The granter of points. Inanimate power. Indifferent netting and metal, casting complex shadows as the living fret about on their steel steeds.
Hoping for a more normal week to round out April. An office not blocked by barricades and intense (but friendly) very-large-gun-toting officials. Honest work outside the home base. An escape from primary-residence-cabin-fever. Maybe even a chance encounter with a writing article that comments on contemporary hypen usage.
Bloody hands, all cleaned up.
