An evening in the streets. Or rather that area of asphalt just beyond the rounded curb corner. Just to squeeze out a touch more distance from the facade. Also sandwiching between parked cars, in fire-hydrant spaces, etc.
Whatever the case, it’s infinitely more pleasant to practice this work in the enveloping moderate climate of late. A cool darkening breeze instead of the howling flesh-preserving (literally) frigidity of previous months.
Much technical stuff to work out, discover, learn, etc. The interior color’s gone haywire. Some blending could probably be improved. General selection-making proficiency leaves much to be desired. Other things I’m probably not even aware of, which is half terrifying, half thrilling. But it’s all still based on the compositioning I’ve been working on for years. Which is comforting, satisfying. Even if the backend needs some work, the front end is going strong, adapting to architecture.
Work, or something like it.
