Risen Up
The view out my window isn’t all that different, geometrically speaking at least. Financially it’s a bit, shall we say, subdued, compared to this sightline of luxury.
Scrambled morning thought: does pleasantness have any place in luxury? Put another way, if luxury is taken to be a lifestyle (or an occasional indulgence), does any of it qualify as pleasant? Perhaps I’m tripping myself over semantics, but it seems like pleasantude isn’t the point somehow.
I will admit to being a devout pursuer of pleasantness. Could there be a new emerging class in this society? I deem us: The Pleasantry.
To work now.
