Not the same ticket as yesterday. Same “Instant Game” from the Massachusetts Lottery, the one-dollar “Happy Holidays!” pulp, emblazoned with “WIN UP TO $500!” and “LOADED WITH $500 PRIZES!” in bright red lettering.
From a technical standpoint, this key is wildly out of focus. But it’s not about the key (laying on the ticket here, not held above). It’s about getting the ticket as sharp as possible across its entire length/width. Meaning, if anything is even slightly out of alignment it’ll rapidly merge with its neighbor.
It’s a fun technical exercise, challenge, until it becomes frustrating and heart wrenching. Which hasn’t happened yet with this series. Boy oh boy it happened with the bottles (light proofing long exposures champagne-explosion-glass-scratching-plexi-glass microphone millisecond triggers.., etc). Hopefully a bit of ingenuity will find me this weekend as I work through the shoot.
Please.
