How Much?

I thought these tickets wouldn’t make it. Wrong scratch layout for the shots I had visualized. Intending to study how close I could get and how to light the scratched stuff itself, I instead scratched directly onto the present icon. The full ticket is intact except for this window into winning.

It’s the reverse of what I had been doing. The recently blogged shots both showed the maximum prize possible, but left open the slight possibility that the ticket could win. Now this ticket is a winner, but I won’t go any further. Is it perhaps more tantalizing?

But you have to play into it. At a glance it’s like huh, scratch ticket cool yah. But think about it. If you don’t think, your mind won’t wander into that “what if I won the lottery” territory. It’s an infinite expanse of crazed materialism and “taking care of people” and expectations of lifelong bliss. Fascinating thought experiment (all thoroughly dampened by psychology research, and realistically by the lottery-winner-support-groups that exist [not because they just can’t contain their excitement and happiness, mind you]).
