Weekend Release

The elevator, the modern sherpa. The cube that shuttles one to desk and sidewalk alike. Deliverance via subtle gravitational shifts.

Metal doors slide open, Friday afternoon sunshine awaits just beyond that final firm push of glass that breaks the building’s envelope and reorients one in a rush of different-feeling air.

That thin clear barrier of architectural osmosis between work and weekend.
