The designery loading dock. Industrial chic. A percentage of blockage enough to prevent butterflies from disturbing business, but revealing enough to show precisely how nondescript it is. It seems to simply be a port for the exchange of material goods.

Standing in front of it my eyes got a bit crazed. Trying to look deeper, beyond ten-thousand focus points into the dim beige. Looking at it on the screen gives me the same experience, tilting the LCD all about, moving my head as if that’ll somehow cut through the literal segregator that puts me decidedly on the outside.

The moral of the story is, when you’ve got a camera bouncing on your hip, loading docks mesmerize. Enchant, even.

Yep.
