First, and importantly. Man do I love to type fast. As part of the metadata in the images uploaded here I type something like “yadda yadda yadda description… shot by Gustav Hoiland 2013, all rights reserved.” The latter part of which I’ve typed every day for the past three years. Not unlike your main password used for near everything, I’ve become highly adept at speedily typing that piece.
Second, in this compendium of confessions, I can’t stop myself from indulging in ever more footage from the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race. To the point that I’m in the preliminary stages of strategic ideation on possible ways to get myself over there for the 2013 race. Maybe I can shoot for a team, shoot for the isle, shoot for local hotels and service providers… something to make up for the expense.
Sorry to say it, but polo pales in comparison to the TT folk. Though my attraction to the petroleum-driven goliaths is likely driven in part by my affection for bi-wheeled activities. We’ll see. In the mean time, here’s my favorite summary video of the race:
