If yesterday’s post was a practice-oriented experiment, this here is the application of the newly derived knowledge. Taking high-iso, multi-light-temperature, architecturally formal content and doing the best I can with it, in a first-pass edit at least. All in RAW, knowing that Photoshop could take it further if needed (if I knew precisely how… another thing to play with!).
So it’s Chanel. Along with the Burberry fortress across the street, these establishments of fine garments are the ones one passes in pursuit of the Newbury experience. Though elevationally similar, this is most decidedly the high end of the street.
One of these days the tripod will come out, be shouldered to and fro, set down in this just-after-dusk hour to do some more in depth work. Suffice to say I’m hoping to labor my way to proficiency and beyond in the capture of human-constructed geometrical exteriors.
But first, to sleep.
