A symphony of directors. Rubber soles pattering along the runway as the wing’d beasts roar and moan, lumbering slowly along. Though the creatures will eventually harness mysterious liftuous forces and sail away, they are for now kept in their stable, standing in the night.
Flying now, I can peer into the abyss and see only a headlight. A constant green (right wing), as well as a blinker. Every second, on the second, it sprays its photonic might into the night, revealing in its sphere of extended self hundreds of dashes of snow.
A beverage cart approaches, impossibly slow. Faraway stewardesses, whirling and asking, distributing all manner of liquid pleasures that come to rest on a branded napkin.
Beverages in turbulence.
