The humblest, least remarkable of garbs: the blank regular-fit t-shirt. This is not a glamour-fest of glistening chests, shiny shorts, and tuxedo-touting announcers. It is the final swing after months of grueling training, and it wears a t-shirt.

So time clicks on. I’m back to thinking about fantastical studio photography possibilities. Bathtubs and Hasselblads. Country Club and Don Pérignon. Something to pile my time into, front-loaded with technique exploration and gear considerations that hopefully culminate in massive plastic-swiping expenditures and a long day of lightning in the bathroom.

Manageable uncertainty reigns in this breath-by-heartbeat directionlessness of comfortable life.

Onward in overcast darkness.
