From the way-back to the just-now. We got 14 people out to double-freezing-cold Saturday-night polo. Neighboring cities and states included. But instead of uploading and posting a photo from tonight, I’ve dug up this gem. From 2007. My first NYC bike polo tournament.
And I can’t help but notice that I’m finishing off a Brooklyn Lager now, perhaps my favorite beer, largely due to its New Yorkian origins, which I’m drawn to on a very deep level. This shot is on the Manhattan bridge, which spans the (east?) river from Brooklyn to Manhattan, and is the bridge of choice for the Fung Wah bus. Chinatown (Boston) to Chinatown (NYC) for $15.
Conscious of the less than flourishy ornate (nonsensical) language I generally scribe, I’m ending this post. Hoping to keep its emphasis on the island that I love, that I really need to get to one of these weekends.
Manhattan, soon.
realy nice one! đŸ™‚
