Change and change and change. As far as I can tell the history of the world, of economics, of most everything is centered around change. Flux. Some things suffer from the change. Many things are excruciatingly stuck in an extended period without change.
Want to be forever employable? Figure out where there’s technological change affecting the economy, then place yourself at its edge. I’m always astounded by the deluge of job postings everywhere for iOS and mobile developers. And those are jobs woeful liberal arts majors can’t snap up, no matter how well rounded one is.
I still can’t figure out why the American education system isn’t teaching coding and computer languages. Not just to guarantee future employment for a generation, but because computers completely rule our little world. And so few people actually understand how they work, myself largely included.
Changing states of consciousness, soon.
