To the other side and the unknowable final passage that officiates the change in tense. From is to was. Who is he? He was.

To be forever in memory, inaccessible behind the blinds of time. But also full of warmth. The trauma of the immediate eventually fading, the remembrance settling more on the longevity than the end’s unfortunate brevity.

In the steps on the long walks he’as always come to mind. The all-day journey from central Madrid to the very edge of the tourist map (flowers in hand). Transversals of Havana in the soaring and swooping sun. Quests from faraway Chinese dormitories to the more western districts, noting a gradual adoption of English into signage along the way.
