The hours are winding down amidst the circulating cool air, no fewer than three layers of music blending (clashing) with the dings and cheery noise generated by 10,000 square feet of slot machines.

So now I’ve sat in all of the poker rooms I had read about through high school in Card Player magazine. Back then it was the Saturday night game on the dining room table. Five dollars to play.

Bellagio, Caesar’s, Aria, Wynn, MGM, Venetian. Walking the strip, then saddling up behind waxing and waning cylinders of red clay. Five dollars a slice.

Eastward bound.
