Descending Geometry
Woke up in the new apartment, sunshine and all. All the boxes and bulging bags scattered about, hastily arranged by a heavily-breathing, stair-running, efficiency oriented fellow on his second dozenth trip up the flights. Walking around the neighborhood afterwards, I couldn’t tell if the giddiness was a result of loving the area, or some cerebral delusion of a dehydrated beaten-down laborer after mass physical exertion.
Whatever the case, thanks to the infuriating nature of Comcast, what should be so simple has … not been so. The rest of this post will be dedicated to … something consultants might write up in a needs-analysis.
- Get a real CRM system that actually captures customer data
- Make your website new-customer friendly
- Don’t hide options that actually are options (e.g. stop lying to your customers) (Give them the whole truth, not just the most profitable slice of the truth)
- Extend retail location hours during the single greatest moving day in Boston – Friday until 5pm, Saturday until 2pm, closed Sunday?
Enough. Back feels good.
Beautiful picture…very summery…!
