I ate lunch before lunch, and at lunch I bought a chair. In the most gus way possible. I explored a bit, confronted my desire to visit a store with an actual visit to that store, and was so pleasantly rewarded with giant MOVING 70% OFF EVERYTHING signs in the windows. Suffice to say I now have a cute, designery chair to inhabit my new inhabitance. (inhabitory boundaries?)
Lots of subways recently. Three times this week I’ve taken double trips, the home-destination-home-destination2. And much of that will soon be eliminated entirely due to self relocation. I will no longer be able to be part of the underground herd, stranded by disabled trains, unable to reach the desired place in a timely manner.
So that means no more pulling out a camera, wandering a crowded platform, and shooting to my heart’s content. Shooting amidst the thousand breathing statues in an increasingly sweltering cavern. The communal every day experience that is public transportation, a thousand people alone on their journeys.
Final Somerville Friday commences… t-minus 26 minutes.
