Work 2 in full swing, the after-work imaging that I’m occasionally called to perform. The work that’s a special blend of meeting new people, getting access to places previously unknown or off limits, challenging the mind and its eye to craft greatness, and thrusting prodigious wads of sweaty American currency into my pockets. (excuse the sentence structure shortcomings, I got a bit carried away)
A bit of an outtake here. Something seen. A moment between moments of importance, the heart-beating seconds of internal silence amidst the omnipresent measures of bass thumps. It may also have been a light test of sorts in this environment that rapidly switched from pitch black to spotlighted heavenlight to strobes to this moody ambiance.
Whatever the case, I’m a couple days now removed from the action and the photos are really coming to life. The tired rush of the weekend has lifted and there’s a peculiar pre-dinner clarity in my head that’s making it work.
Off to steam fresh corn.
