Going for It
The ongoing contest of will, of skill, of perhaps fate. Teams are decided by the polo gods above (below?), nobody seems to decide when to start the games anymore, and more and more it seems like a colosseum of chance.
And so I prance about, hoping they stay rubber-side down, free of any epic-tragic trips to the mausoleum. I’ll spare you all any further rhymes. Just wanted to cinch that ‘eum.
Whatever the case, it’s polo. Perhaps this weekend will afford a Sunday afternoon of it.
