To projects that never became. Ideas conceptualized, then tested, then re-evaluated and subsequently dropped.
I forget what exactly ended this endeavor. Aesthetically I quite like it, and it could have blossomed into a really quite interesting series. I think its demise was driven by the less than pleasant act of creation.
Which is probably too bad. The goal of shooting isn’t to satiate my desire for comfort and ease, but rather to create interesting imagery. Good portraiture is rarely a breeze, but it’s difficult to see the bigger picture when you’re just walking the streets, free of all obligation.
Such it is.
