Lakes Beneath
Shredding somewhat mercilessly, but mostly confusedly, through a folder appropriately named “PHOTO-MESSES” on the ‘ol archive machine. Scraps of personal history, much of it duplicated elsewhere (a major headache), improperly managed over the years and now sitting silently in a pile of to-be-done sorting.
But oh so many surprises are within it. Most deliberate, scheduled shoots I remember. Generally at least. But the overflow of everyday snapshots is abundant. All sorts of stuff like this. Bits of wonderment across all genres and locales.
Another reminder to always select the window seat, or to negotiate once on board with a fellow traveler to snag the seat with the view.
Horizons of cloud.
