A break from the relative permanence of historical interiors to the ephemeral touch of youth. And the even shorter timeframe of vibrance in hair dye, something that admittedly answers to commercially available renewers. And next the finitude of and hour’s lunch break. All of these so magnitudinously more prolonged than the moment of capture that resulted in what we now see.
But what comes back to mind is the possibility of lunchbreakdom. Of sixty intervals of sixty at one’s disposal. To mingle and socialize. To work. To exercise. To exercise mentally. To shoot. And of course to eat at some point.
It’s just one of the facets of the new daytime gig that I’ll figure out with time. Once the decades of culture settle more firmly around me, that invisible atmosphere that fills a space.
And it’s all about space.
