Enough with the Cuba reminiscence. At least for tonight. I’ve been in a nearly-non-stop shooting rut ever since returning last Monday night. Hurried with the new office post, uninspired by the neighborhood, unable to sling the camera strap over a blazer (comfortably), and generally wiped out.
But alas, a bit of in-room flash experimentation along to some previously unheard music and unconsumed brew tends to do the trick. Not quite 100%, but enough to have to think about. To have to evaluate and go back and forth. Something that feels like creative work.
Perhaps seven hours of product training tomorrow followed by three hours in the night course. A day of learning first about space in the context of software, then about visualizing and recording space inside and out from the optical viewpoint. Twenty-three and still learnin’.
Early to rest.
