Hum of the Crowd

Wiley night of polo, had to retire early (posting in the morning now). And no camera was pulled, no memories documented, just another night of polo to fade into the collective mush of unrecallable joys from days past.

Lately I’ve been all consumed by the profound importance of the ordinary everyday. Of taking for granted all the small things that help to define and shape the present. Precisely that which won’t make the brain’s catalog of stuff that it should probably remember for some reason. It’s a limited space.

This photo, having been taken at an event, doesn’t entirely fit into my above ramblings. It’s a distinct moment in time. But for this fighter there is undoubtedly long-term personal value to be had in this. In just another pause before one of the dozen fights that night.

Not to bed, but to breakfast!
