Got home late and tired, picked off another boxing shot for y’all before I fall out of my much-appreciated white chair into my less appreciated futon mattress. If and when I move, I just might sink some real money into a slab of padding that I’ll actually look forward to slumbering upon.
When the fighters are in the middle of the ring the ropes kind of fall out of play. They just become background noise. But when the stars of the show are in the corners the ropes come to glory anew.
Vanishing points and subsequent perceptions of depth arise. Diagonals of all manner come to fill parts of the frame. There is interaction between man and built environment, of resting upon the horizontal bungees that encage the beasts in their six pummelous minutes.
Andnowtobed.
