All edited through the boxing work now. At some point the alteratory slider-driven parametric modifications took a turn to the black and white. And stayed there. And now there’s a dozen or so excellent images. And the question is whether or not to sequence them into something, a narrative or other collection, or to just archive’em and move on.
I’m undecided about this one right now. It’s good. There’s an inherent appeal to it that jumped out right away. But is it excellent? Is it something that will live on in my head for another week? Month?
I tell’ya, some stuff I shoot rattles uncontrollably throughout my skull, jumping neuronal synapses like no tomorrow. Sometimes it’s too good to forget. Other times there’s an uncertainty. Still others it was the very experience of shooting it, and not necessarily the image, that sticks.
Happy to document, happy to not get pummeled.
