With his Counsel

Slogging through the pile of images whilst the rain falls outside, rather noisily onto something metallic on my deck. Big fat droplets from clouds a mile up, borne from some long-ago evaporated puddle. Water vapor as world traveller.

This guy doesn’t look nearly as tired as I’d expect him to. Granted I don’t recall anything from his bout, but they’re no walk in the park from what I’ve observed. Come to think of it, the woman at left didn’t seem to be pouring water over the fighters as they came to rest, something that always makes it more intense.

So what we’ve really got is forearms, fluorescent lights, and the ropes. I know not what the ropes are made of.

Fight on.
