Shot no fewer than four disparate subjects today. Editing through two of’em before clunking unto the covers to be subjected to whatever mental creations my mind musters in dark, when the lights turn on behind the eyelids and consciousness is roused in a strange, confined way.
But this pull here is from the other day. One of the few shots in this neighborhood project (growing collection, may have potential) that took better to black and white than color. Dead grass detracted. The overblown white sky unreal, identifiably not how the world looks. I forget the color of the roof.
But more importantly, the more recent shots have been notably more refined than my first glimpses that kicked it all off. Every line here seems to be in place. It’s free of the perspective distortion that causes walls to slant in and out. It’s firm somehow, well held together.
Lights off.
