Crossing Teele

Phew. I made it. Trying out some different camera gear and had to use some new software to get at the images. All I can say is I’m deeply entrenched in my normal editing habits, and stepping outside of them completely derails me.

I think it looks a bit too HDR’y. There’s a kind of “ohhh, that effect. yup” immediate reaction that is getting to my head. Maybe I’ve just spent too long looking at it with that in mind. Or maybe it’s just blisteringly obvious that that’s exactly what it looks like.

Regardless, went for a wonderful walk this evening and happened upon a whole mile or so of sidewalk that I hadn’t ever before traversed. Part of me thinks that was the last undiscovered route in my neighborhood, but of course there’s always some hidden streets lurking out of plain sight.

I’ll walk’em eventually.
