I’ve had my eyes on men’s shoes for too long now. Specifically the black leather kind. And so whenever I see a well dressed gentleman I make sure to catch the make of whatever he has underfoot. There’s this desire to get just the right pair. Mind wracking to say the least. (It’s all because I’ve got a great tailored black suit, but … lackluster black shoes)
So this singular foot pillow is in a window display, behind a giant invisible solid. And – admittedly I thought of this after I wrote the title – I’m behind glass myself, all kinds of polished and ground lenses and some mirrors and prisms and other stuff. Double the glass, double the distance.
So through glass, of glass, of things that can’t be seen but must be cleaned. Of clear glasses with clear lenses, sure to cast interesting shadows and inspire a bit more self portraiture, and perhaps a series of others portraiture. We’ll see.
Midweek beckons.
